Lake Bloom Residency is on Saki Vihar Road in Powai, opposite the lane of L&T Gate No. 6. That is the sentence to give a driver — the road is long, and "Powai" alone will get you to the general area and no further.

What makes this address genuinely convenient is that it sits between three transport systems rather than beside one: the metro to the south, the Central Line stations to the east, and the airport a short run to the west.

Distances are approximate and by road. Mumbai travel times swing widely with traffic — treat the figures above as off-peak, and add a buffer between 8–11 AM and 6–9 PM. Andheri Railway Station is also reachable from here; ask the front desk for the current best route, as it depends on the time of day.

Arriving by air

Mumbai International Airport (T2) is around 6 km away — roughly 15 to 25 minutes by car, depending on traffic and which exit you use. That makes this one of the more sensible bases in the city for anyone with an early flight or a late landing.

  • Late arrivals are routine. Our front desk is staffed 24×7, so a 2 AM landing is not a problem — just tell us your flight when you book.
  • Prepaid taxis and app cabs both work well from T2. Give the driver "Saki Vihar Road, opposite L&T Gate No. 6".
  • Early departures: leave 90 minutes before your check-in closes for a domestic flight, more in the morning peak. Ask us the night before and we will have a cab waiting.
  • T1 (domestic) is also a short run from here.

Arriving by metro

Three metro stations sit within about 2 km. Which one you want depends on where you are coming from.

  • Aarey JVLR (~1.2 km, 4–5 min by road) — the closest. Useful for connections across the newer metro network.
  • Marol Naka (~2.2 km, ~8 min) — an interchange point, and handy for the Andheri–Ghatkopar corridor.
  • Saki Naka (~2.3 km, ~8 min) — the station most guests name when they search for us, and a straightforward auto ride away.

All three are short auto or cab rides rather than walks. If you are arriving with luggage, take a cab; if you are heading out for a meeting across the city, the metro will often beat the road at peak hours.

Arriving by train

The Central Line stations sit to the east, all within about 5 km:

  • Kanjur Marg (~3.8 km, ~13 min)
  • Vikhroli (~4.0 km, ~14 min)
  • Ghatkopar (~4.6 km, ~16 min) — also a metro interchange, which makes it the most flexible of the three.

Autos are available outside all of them. If you are arriving on a long-distance train with heavy luggage, an app cab is worth the small extra.

By road

  • Eastern Express Highway (~6 km, ~15 min) — for anyone driving in from Thane, Navi Mumbai or the north-east.
  • Western Express Highway (~6 km, ~15–20 min) — for the western suburbs and the route north towards Ahmedabad.
  • BKC via Kurla (~11 km, 25–40 min) — the swing in that estimate is the point. BKC at 9:30 AM and BKC at 2 PM are completely different journeys. If you have a morning meeting there, leave earlier than feels necessary.
  • Parking is available on site; tell us in advance if you are arriving by car.

Getting around locally

  • Bus stops are a 2–5 minute walk — L&T Gate and Dr. Ambedkar Udyan.
  • Autos are plentiful on Saki Vihar Road at almost any hour.
  • App cabs are reliable in this pocket, including late at night.
  • Ask the front desk to book ahead for anything before 7 AM. At dawn you do not want to be standing on the road hoping one appears.

Where you are going, and how long to allow

  • L&T campus — across the road. See our L&T visitor guide, and confirm your gate number before you travel.
  • Powai’s IT parks and Hiranandani — roughly ten minutes; our corporate guide has the detail.
  • IIT Bombay — ten to twenty minutes depending on gate; see the campus visitor guide.
  • SEEPZ and MIDC, Andheri East — a straightforward run; see the SEEPZ guide.
  • NESCO / Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East — 25 to 40 minutes via JVLR; the exhibitor guide covers timings and the event calendar.
