Hiranandani Gardens is the part of Powai everyone recognises — the pale neo-classical towers, the wide clean streets, the Galleria, and a concentration of offices, clinics and restaurants that makes it feel like a self-contained town inside Mumbai.

People look for hotels near Hiranandani for a handful of very specific reasons, and knowing which one you are changes what you should book.

Why people stay near Hiranandani

Hospital visits. Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital draws patients and families from across Maharashtra and beyond. A family accompanying a patient needs something quite particular: a quiet room, a stay measured in weeks rather than nights, somewhere to prepare simple food, and a front desk that understands the trip is not a holiday. This is the group we host most often, and the Teak Studio with its kitchenette exists for exactly this.

Business at the offices in and around Hiranandani. The business park and surrounding towers house a large number of companies, and their visitors need a predictable base with reliable Wi-Fi and a GST invoice at the end.

Relocation and house-hunting. People moving to Powai often stay a fortnight while they look for a flat and get a feel for the area.

Family visits. Powai has a large resident population; visiting relatives who need somewhere nearby rather than a spare room.

Weddings and events at the venues and banquet halls in the area, where guests need rooms within a short drive.

Getting to Hiranandani from here

Lake Bloom Residency is on Saki Vihar Road, opposite the lane of L&T Gate No. 6. Hiranandani Gardens is a short drive — roughly ten minutes in normal traffic, longer at the morning and evening peaks when Powai's roads fill up.

  • Hospital appointments: leave 25–30 minutes before your slot. Morning appointments coincide with peak traffic, and hospital parking takes time.
  • Autos are readily available on Saki Vihar Road; app cabs are reliable in this pocket.
  • Late returns: our front desk is staffed 24×7, which matters when a procedure runs long or a discharge happens at night.

Staying near Hiranandani without paying Hiranandani rates

Accommodation inside Hiranandani itself is limited and priced for the postcode. For a two-night business trip that may be fine. For a family sitting through a fortnight of treatment, or someone house-hunting for three weeks, the difference compounds into serious money.

Ten minutes away on Saki Vihar Road you get the same access, a quieter street, and rates that make a long stay sustainable. You are also better placed for the working side of Powai — L&T, SEEPZ, MIDC and Andheri East are all closer from here than from Hiranandani.

For families staying through a hospital admission

We host these guests regularly, and there are a few things worth knowing in advance:

  • Long stays are cheaper by the week. Ask for weekly or monthly rates on the Teak Studio rather than booking night by night.
  • The kitchenette matters more than you expect. Being able to make tea at 2 AM, or prepare something simple for a patient on a restricted diet, changes the shape of the day.
  • Tell us it is a hospital stay. We will put you in a quieter room where we can, and the desk will not be surprised by odd hours.
  • Original photo ID is required for every guest, including anyone joining later — worth telling relatives who arrive mid-stay.
  • GST invoices are issued on every stay, which helps if any of it is claimable through insurance or an employer.

What is around Hiranandani

The Galleria is the centre of gravity for shopping and eating. Closer to us, the L&T gate cluster on Saki Vihar Road has everyday restaurants within walking distance, and Dabba Garam Powai serves home-style meals — which long-stay families tend to appreciate more than another restaurant menu. Our Powai restaurant guide has the full list. Powai Lake and its promenade are close by for a morning walk, covered in our Powai Lake guide. IIT Bombay's campus sits along the other side of the lake.

Which room suits which stay

  • Hospital stay, relocation, or anything over a week: the Teak Studio with kitchenette, on weekly or monthly rates.
  • Business visit, two or three nights: the Cedar Deluxe — twin beds, work desk, fast Wi-Fi. Maximum 2 guests.
  • Family of three: the Banyan Trio, up to 3 guests in one room.
  • A more comfortable long stay: The Mahogany Soak, our signature studio with a full bathtub.
